While there is no current plans for a 4th Hotel on Disneyland Resort property, Al Lutz at MiceAge.com reported that Disney is seriously looking at adding a 4th tower at the Disneyland Hotel, which would be a combination of Hotel rooms and DVC units. (Going where the secondary pool area and the former Fantasy Waters area.)

As far as I know, no permits have been applied for the DLH expansion yet.

As a side note, whether owned by Disney or not I really hope Garden Walk is a success in the future. Stuff like this needs to do well for Anahiem to be able to maintain its status as a tourist destination.

Harbor would also benefit from this new access. It's astonishing to me that the intersections on Harbor are still using conventional traffic signals and crosswalks. A pedestrian bridge is desperately needed, and a wide one at that.

This elevated walkway would dovetail nicely into the proposed new hotel towers and Garden Walk development on the east side of Harbor, creating a human funnel from the esplanade and transportation area.

It's not all that perplexing to me. The hotel business is a pretty low margin business. There are some aspects of Disney's hotel business in Orlando that are completely unique to that resort but can't be duplicated in Anaheim.

Such as basically secluding the guests from other areas of Orlando if they do not have their own vehicle?
