In a few years, the "new" Monorails will be another part of the landscape at Disneyland, and we will hardly remember all this fuss.

The saddest part for me is that there is only one lone operating train. Just a few years ago we had 4 functioning trains. What a poorly planned re-do.

    I weep.

This is Southern California with some pretty hot days throughout the year. How about today! June 20,2008! I don't even want to go outside! Imagine being in the new Mark VII right now! Anaheim must be pushing 90 degrees .. or more!

The Mark Vs have been in a service for 20 years! That's too long!

I read (I think in the miceage article) that they CAN"T fix the windows without changing the whole chassis, and they CAN"T put AC in them because of room/clearance issues!
    What a complete fiasco!!

Is there a reason why DLR's monorails have never had air conditioning? It's not like it's never been hot in Anaheim before.
