So we will be getting the news on how bad things are later today. I can't be at that appointment. He said he will call me later this afternoon. I walked into work today and found out that my boss is going to be riding with me all day today. So this is going to be intresting. No one at work knows I have a partner. I'm not out at work. And today is that day I will probably get the worst news of my adult life. OH BOY.

Several officers (admittedly, all female) are out, and it's just treated like they have (blank) color hair. It's not an issue. I know your boss and co-workers (if any find out) will treat you with the compassion, love, and kindness you deserve. I'm thinking they will surprise both you and KJ.
