That's awfully long for a normal rehab--are they putting a new show in (please, god)?

I have no problem with Stitch being added. He's a huge character that the Japanese love, and its interesting to see the ones who have a problem with this all seem to be westerners who the park doesn't cater for.

Reopens Summer 2008. The Enchanted Tiki Room in Adventureland will be renewed, with the mischievous alien Stitch blundering into the enchanted show of Hawaiian birds. Find out what happens as the show reaches an exciting climax joined by the Tiki gods and the guests."

By the way, you can count me as one of the folks who LIKES the show in Walt Disney World. And they really did need to change it--the Tiki room in Orlando was empty before the change. Anyone who complains about Orlando can't have seen the crap show in Tokyo. It's so stupid it boggles the mind.

I have a lot of WDI audio tracks, including the English-language version of Tokyo's Tiki room (so I know what they're actually saying). Awful stuff. Perhaps a psychiatrist is necessary! :)

I pray that it's at least respectful. Say what you will about the current TDL show, but it's a heck of a lot more respectful of what came before than the WDW version wich does nothing but make fun of the old show and any other "boring" AA attractions at WDW.

Wouldn't that be a given if Stitch was involved.
