And while we're there, we'll also be seeing the Spirit of Aloha Show at the Polynesian Resort and I was also wondering if anyone had any comments on that? Thanks in Advance!:)

My family and I love the Spirit of Aloha show and go every time. It's a lot of fun. The food is mass prepared served family style so this looses a little in the quality, but it's pretty edible. The show is a lot of fun. I prefered the previous show to the current story, but it still has lots of neat dancing and covers several regions of the South Pacific. We like to go a little before the show or hang out a little after the show at the Polynesian Resort as it's pretty neat to check out with a nice beach.

It is a nice resort to walk around. The only bad point for me was the bus system for the world. Back then Disney had the buses arrive every 15 min at all the resorts. But at CBR the buses were taking up to 45 mins. Maybe because of the size of the resort or just to busy. But that is little stuff. Now , the older I get , it doesnt bother me. I was only 22 and just wanted to get to the parks. But im learning to enjoy the scenery and atmosphere. Have fun.

Christiemarsh, This is going to be my 2nd but trip but more of a Vacation feeling to it! My Bf and I went to visit his Brother in Orlando who also works at WDW (He does the Electric Show at night)and we went there for 2 days but couldn't really do a lot. This time it'll be just him and I and we're staying for 6 days so I'm really happy about going this time:0)

I think you will find the WDW Trip Planning section especially helpful. If you change your settings to "Show All Messages" and look through older topics in that section you find all sorts of useful information.

Cruise over to the Community section and introduce yourself. There's more to LP than trip planning!

    Really?

I haven't noticed any of these people here. I must be only looking for the positive.

As to the OP's questions, I have stayed at CBR many times but not recently. All the rooms were rehabbed in the 2000-01 time period, but they were in awful shape then. I, frankly, wouldn't expect them to be in great repair right now ... I'd look for reviews on either TripAdvisor.com or wdwig.com to get a better idea.

If you're set on a moderate resort, I think PO-FQ and CSR and even PO-Riverside are all better choices.

As to Spirit of Aloha, I haven't ever seen it. I also have yet to speak to one person who has and thinks it's worth it. If I were doing a dinner show, I'd spend my $$$ on FW's HDD show.

Just ake for Jamacia and you will be close to the main main and food court. If you don't mind the walking a lot of the other sections are very quiet and so nice. they do have the largest rooms for the Moderate resorts, which I loved.

For your dinner res. I've only heard good things from it, so have a great time.
And congrats on the 4 years.
