Every country celebrates at their own time, there is plenty of performers and everyone has a great time. IllumiNations at midnight is the best fireworks you will ever see. I would heartily recommend it. The crowds are large but it isn't horrific (like DL on NYE) and it really gives you an opportunity to enjoy some of the stuff that you might otherwise not bother with.
