Many times day guests are not able to get in unless they are staying on Disney property due to the Magic Kingdom filling to capacity. Good Luck.

We were thinking of changing our check in date at POP for the 2nd and stay off property for the first 2 nights....think that is a bad idea? If we are there for park opening....do you think we can get in?

although there is a 'cool' factor to being there, again with kids, you will not enjoy it -- and being there 16 days - after a few days into Jan....lots of time to spend at MK and EPCOT

    just IMHO

I would heartily recommend it. The crowds are large but it isn't horrific (like DL on NYE) and it really gives you an opportunity to enjoy some of the stuff that you might otherwise not bother with.

I went to the MK once on NYE ... that was enough.

    You sure about that?

That sounds extreme. If they are leaving the park open until 1 a.m. for day guests, I can't see them doing EMH.

    But I could be wrong.

    Anyone confirm this?
