    We did it one year and it was a blast. Crowded beyond belief but we knew it would be that way so we went with the proper attitude. I think all the people can add to the excitement. The next morning we went for rope drop and it lines were small so thats when we did the rides.

    I'll be there.
    Anyone remember the soft opening of Monsters Inc in CAdventure last Dec 31? No one knew much about it and lines were non-existent.

Many people were there to party and had no reverence for the place - trash everywhere,trampled flowers, etc. After midnight we made the mistake of trying to get through Adventureland. We literally stood stock still in the middle of a crowd for 30 mintues to an hour because it was so packed you couldn't move forwards or backwards. If there had been some kind of emergency I don't know what would have happened. We LOVE Disneyland, but said we would never spend another New Year's there.

    If you plan to go to Disneyland on New Years Eve, you must go with the frame of mind that it will be EXTREMELY CROWDED but like I said before I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Just enjoy the ambiance of being at the happiest place on earth.
