I really want to see this film and the new Beatrix Potter film that is coming out. Wow! 2 movies at the same time I actually want to see.. not very often does that happen.. (I can't recall the last movie we went to see at the theatre this year except Cars, although I'm sure there's others).

I think so, smeeko. I love Jumanji, and I also love NatM. It does have kind of the same feeling as Jumanji at times, but they are very different films.

Best part for me was during the ending credits. There is a bit with the 3 night watchmen doing a little dancing. Boy, Dick Van Dyke can still shake a leg :)

The kids loved the movie; I was mildly entertained by it. There were some very funny little moments, and Owen Wilson was hilarious as always.

Still, I did enjoy watching some of the things come to life, especially the T-Rex skeleton and the Easter Island head. I'd give it a solid "C" on my A-Z scale.
