Personally, I still think it's great to see people applauding Disney theme park shows like Country Bear Jamboree and Carousel of Progress. It just shows their approval of a well done show that they enjoyed!

The first time I was ever in a movie audience that clapped was in 1991 when our family saw "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves".

It also seemed like they ran out of money for effects. With its flaws, it still is a recommeneded pic. I wasn't interested in seeing Owen Wilson, though. But, he had a 'small' part, so it was all good.
Originally Posted By TALL Disney Guy <It also seemed like they ran out of money for effects.> You know, that was a premise of a potential Muppet movie that never materialized. The Muppets were to travel around the world in their grandest movie ever...only Gonzo was to have spent all the money on the special effects for the film's beginning, so the Muppets would have to be reduced to pathetically providing their own scenery and props for the rest of the flick. Haha! Funny non-existent stuff. <But, he had a 'small' part, so it was all good.> Well maybe not fer Owen! ;-)
