    After controversy at the Ocean Park and Paris balloon locations, the balloon has been completed removed from the Downtown Disney area. They have said they are going to do multiple checks and tests for the balloon to make sure it is still safe. Rumors do state it may never return.

    I just got back from WDW Tuesday and the balloon in DTD was up for at least a couple of the days we were there. Maybe they were just doing tests and the people in it were cast members, but either way it was up in the air with people in it.
