After this season, Disneyland will no longer be allowed to sell or have anything to do with Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas in any of the Disney parks. Tim Burton felt "threatened" that new Disney CEO's [who shall remain nameless] where attempting to steal the rights of The Nightmare Before Christmas away from him. So Tim Burton took Disney to court, with a strong lawsuit, and walked out of court with all of the rights to the beloved film. Now Tim Burton is removing all Nightmare products and merchandise from the Disney Parks. This includes The Haunted Mansion Holiday.

If anything, it appears that the license is stronger than ever, and with the relase of the film on 3D, I doubt Tim Burton is very unhappy...

He was at the after party, talking with John Lassiter and other Disney executives. If there was any lawsuit, it would have had to have happened awfully fast.

Disney, don't you think maybe some newspaper would have picked up on it? If you can't get a single shred of info on such a high profile celebrity court case in a 4 second search on Google, that's a pretty good indication you've got a bum rumor. In fact, the same bum rumor that's been going around since 2001. How about we start a rumor about how drinking Coke and eating Pop Rocks at the same time makes your stomach explode all over the Junior High cafeteria? It doesn't have a Disneyland tie-in, but at least it's a little more believable than this old Tim Burton line.

Plus Disney has big plans for Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas, I heard that next year at Disney-MGM Studios Disney will actually do something like Horror Nights over at Universal called Jack's Halloween Party sounds intersting & rumor says it that WDW is soon to have a NMBC attraction. So if this is true Tim Burton is certainly is throwing alot away!
