It's not that there's anything wrong with learning about other countries. I find the movie really interesting. At least I did the first 5 times I saw it. I think it's great to learn about other countries and cultures. My kids were only 4 and less than one the last time I was there and they would not have sat quietly through the Norway movie. I haven't ever seen the Canada movie so I'll try to make it a point when we are there in May. My kids are now 7 and 3 so we'll see if they want to watch the Norway flick. Hopefully they will. I missed it last December when we were there.

It's not like you're skipping out after your kid performs in the first act of a show (which *is* very rude).

ORDDU: Filtering these films through celebrites is--for the most part--a bad idea. If we want to see Martin Short we'll conjur up one of his movies in our crystal ball. But when we want to be totally immersed in a film about Canada, that's what we expect. Unfortunately it's not what we got in this updated version, sorry to say. ORWEN: The updated Chinese film, though, was good. ORDDU: By the way, beamerdog, dear--what are the odds that you and I might meet up at the Norweigian area of Epcot for the sole purpose of capturing a couple of those gorgeous hunks and, then, having ourselves a double date?!?! ORGOCH: I give odds it's 'bout as likely as that John Edwards fella winnin' this year's election fer Pres'dent--nothin' agin' John, hisself, though...

The film is ok, because of the two points of the film, I feel its a bit abbrasive for my ears (or ear, since I am completely deaf in one - lol) at parts. Witches - its been a while. Your still going after those men - eh!

Plus I think a lot of people who are on vacation for a week like the ride the ride more then once but don't want to sit throught the movie multiple times. I'm surprised that they haven't created two optional exits; one for people to wait for and watch the movie and one for people to exit immediately after riding the boat ride.

I think I also heard that at one point they routed the queue through the theater so people would watch it as they waited for the attraction. To me that makes the most sense, since you would just be looking at the mural for an hour other wise. Too bad they didn't set the building up so that would be easier to do on a regular basis. (put in a queue like in the Great Movie Ride so you can watch, learn, and keep moving foreward all at the same time!)
