We decide to head back to Disneyland California for some last few rides. Amazingly enough my younger daughter again wants to go on the Ferris Wheel (this time on the stationary gondola). She didn’t really like it but she didn’t really not like it either this time. Once we did that the girls got their faces painted again. This time my older daughter had a beautiful butterfly painter like a mask over her eyes any my younger daughter had a silly puppy face done. After the face painting we went to bugs land and rode Flik’s Flyers, Francis’ Ladybug Boogie and Tuck and Roll’s Drive ‘Em Buggies. After that we headed over to Mickey’s Toon Town and rode Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin and Gadget’s Go Coaster (ok I was screaming on this one and my older daughter was killing herself laughing on this one. hehe…that’s her favourite story, she was laughing on the ride and I was screaming). We also checked out Mickey & Minnie’s Houses and Donald’s Boat. Then we went to the Tiki Room and rode the Jungle Cruise. To wrap up the rides we went on the Mad Tea Party a couple times, Peter Pan, Star Tours and Buzz Lightyear a couple times. We watched the 3:30 pm Christmas Parade and were just blown away by it! We all just loved it!! The floats were so pretty and there was just so much energy coming from everyone in the parade. At the end of the night we got to see the Fantasmic! Show. Even though there were some technical problems for a while the show went on. This was so unbelievably awesome!! After Fantasmic! were our last fireworks show. These were even better than the first ones we saw and the snow seemed to last a lot longer and looks so beautiful! After this we decided to head back to the hotel for the night. Nov. 18 (Trip Home) Well the girls and I figured we would do some shopping before we headed to the airport today. Unfortunately this was the ONE day out of the WHOLE week the girls didn’t wake me up at 6 am so we didn’t get to go shopping. We had wanted to pick out something super special to the girls each to remember this trip by…does anyone have any suggestions of where we can order online that will ship to Canada? The whole trip was amazing and completely unbelievable!! We’re already saving for another trip back to Disneyland

How lucky you were that as part of your daughters performing, you got to go to Disneyland and how fortunate they are that they had the opportunity to dance in Disneyland. The part of your story about your being late for the performance was really good. Your description was so great I could picture the whole thing! It must have been hilarious to see all of you! With regard to your question about ordering Disney items online from Canada. I understand that this website sells things from Disneyland under LP Store. I have not purchased anything so I cannot give you any information with regard to them specifically but there stuff looks really nice and it is from Disneyland. There is an obvious markup from what it would cost if you bought it in Disneyland but they are shopping for you so I guess they have to make their profit too. I can give you a little information as to shipping to Canada as I did just order some things from Disneyshopping.com for the first time. I was a little surprise by the extra costs that I didn't think of so I thought I would give you a heads up. I was fortunate to get free shipping but I knew that I would have to pay the exchange. However, when the package arrived by courier, I had to pay the PST, the GST and Duty and a processing/documentation fee before they would give it to me. This ended up being about $45.00 Cdn on a $100.00 US order. I would imagine that you would have to pay the taxes and duty no matter who you order from and you may have already know this but as I have never ordered anything from out of country, it was a big $45.00 surprise to me. However, I am extremely happy with my purchase so I have no regrets and now I know about the extra costs if I am tempted again. Thanks again for the great trip reports!

I'm still waiting for more of my pics to come in the mail from my ex's ex...we had a little problem with her computer when she copied the pictures from my memory card...uhm her computer erased my memory card once it copied the pictures to her computer! so she put my pictures on cd's and mailed them to me earlier this week. I can't wait to get them! hehe...even with all the little panics we had, we're already saving up to go again (hoping to go again in the next 4 or 5 years or so) thanks for the heads up on the extra charges for orders! I've taken a quick peak at both disneyshopping.com and the lp store...I'm hoping to get more time to look at them today or tomorrow. I've also heard there's a Disney store in Vancouver!! I'm so going to go check it out
