I just came over to this section to lurk and saw that your trip is back on! I'm still working on August plans, but will get back to you asap.

I was just up in nyc last week. Jackson had his first dog park experience right behind the Museum of Natural History near my friend's place.

Meeting for lunch and/or walk sounds great.

There was an automat (that's what they called them "back in the day") on Chestnut St. in Philadelphia that my mom took me to as I thought it was really fun! The one that I went to was NOT done in hot pink like Bamn, lol.

Jack had a great time. The dogs in Manhattan are very well behaved (as a rule), so I was comfortable taking him there. Jackson is a service dog, so I have to be very careful to not let him get hurt or pick up some nasty disease. Besides the point that I love him, if he's out of commission, then I'm out of commission. He made friends with a chihuahua, which was quite a sight! And, he had a great run with a couple of larger dogs, too.

I'm okay for most of that week, except 8/6. Unfortunately, Bamn is closed. It did look like fun and I've actually tasted fried mac and cheese which they had. Very bad for you and very delicious, lol.

Is there someplace else that you'd like? Price range, please and then I'll do some research if your dad doesn't have something else in mind.

btw, I'll be staying with my friend who lives really near the American Museum of Natural History. I'll look up their calendar for the time of your visit.

I forget where you said you'll be staying.
