Unless something changes drastically this is going to be an awful place to live over the next 50 years. It is so sad that common sense cannot be taught. Does anyone know of a large piece of land where we can sail to and start over? Maybe this time, not kill off the entire population that already exists there? Religious zealots feeling that everyone must believe what they believe to the point of killing people that disagree (and I'm not just talking about foreign terrorists here). Constantly pushing and pushing trying to make everyone conform to their way of thinking. When you think about the fact that this country was originally formed to allow people to have religious freedom, it is scary at best. That is also the freedom to not be religious folks, isn't it?
