Newsflash! Obama gives speech in 2007 criticizing the government's response to Hurricane Katrina! Fox News and Matt Drudge tell you this will change the 2012 election!

I'm linking to Huffpo because their timeline of events on this at the beginning of the story is important. This gets hyped all day by Drudge, then picked up by Fox News. Almost as if they're working in tandem.

Right-wingers will insist this is because those losers in the lamestream media won't cover this because they want Hussein Obama to win. The truth is this is old news. It was covered during the 2008 campaign. Obama repeats what most of us already knew - the federal government failed Katrina and Americans are slow to respond to the needs of the poor and minorities.

This sure feels like 2008 again. Obama can't be trusted and there's lots of unpleasant allusions around his race making him scary or "other."

You really should watch it, rather than rely on the noise machine to tell you what's in it.

Nice to see the GOP going back to the exact same tactics that were SO effective against Obama in 2008.
