Finally, please give just one example (the worst example, in your opinion), and please stick to verifiable things the candidate or the campaign did...nothing about bloggers, talking heads, or any other non-affiliated folks.

But just the fact the put those words right up on the screen "Obama on Palin" right in target so the whole "lipstick" thing would be back to back with hers, and all that...BLATANTLY false. They are certainly going down a dark path with this. Essentially the commercial promises that prior to the comment shown Obama actually said something along the lines of "well, here's what I think of Sarah Palin". Bad, bad, bad.

Call it what it was, point out the lie, say (literally) "shame on John McCain for approving of an ad which is a blatant lie." A little preemptive strike, if you will, for the worse that will come. Might keep the media more honest when the worse does come, and make at least some people take what comes with a grain of salt.
