A local radio report has stated the child fell from an Autopia vehicle.

To bring it back closer to topic, it is very different style when a racecar driver gets injured. They realize that it is part of the job and these things happens. Granted, they take more risk with their lives than the average Disney guest, but the notion remains. Things happen and you just have to go with the flow. To make a comparison, I was once on the Jungle Cruise when I almost fell out. I was leaning out of the boat (not extremely, but somewhat) to take a picture of something. Well, the boat hit a nice turn and I lost my balance. The CM stopped the boat to make sure I was okay, but I told him I was fine and it was mostly my fault anyway.
