Though personally, I prefer Dragon's Lair 1 and 2 and Space Ace. "Earthlings must surrender to me!"

A Dragon's Lair animated movie is in the works for Bluth.

Thumbelina could've been really good with just a few simple story changes.

Anastasia & Secret of NIMH are quite good.

Honestly, can someone point out what makes his movies so good to some people, I'm honestly curious.

I've personally always looked at them as cheap Disney rip offs... so I'd love some insight as to why some people enjoy them.

And his style is so distinctive that you can see some it in some of the animated films he worked on for Diseny, in the 70's. You can see it in Marie(Aristocats), the little kid animals in Robin Hood, some of the mice characters in the RAS meeting in the Rescuers, & in "The Small One's" donkey, & Elliot from Pete's Dragon. Actually i think I read he was the director for all of Elliot's animation, & he designed the character too.

I wish it weren't so kiddie. Get rid of the colorful bugs and Bartok and Rasputin choking himself for 30 minutes and I'd watch it over and over.

    Doesn't mean I don't like those films; I do. It's just a trait of Bluth's.
