And, yes, I'd prefer that "Mickey's hand" be removed from the outside of the sphere. I think the pure image of Spaceship Earth was the definitive representation of Epcot.

I respect Fab's opinion on the Pressler thing, but quoting a two year-old article doesn't really have a lot of relevancy to what's going on now, especially when any corporation's policy/priorities can change at the drop of a hat. ABC's programming is doing better now, and they have a lot of stuff on their near-term plate. When that's fixed, or at least doing better, the company is going to definitely be looking at what ELSE is in need of attention. And Rasulo's comment upon announcement of his getting the job, that perhaps too much attention had been paid to efficiency and cost-cutting in the parks, was very telling, and I think a hint that those priorities may indeed have some shuffling ahead. The Spain thing - don't expect more than a few facades and some tile work in a limited open space. This is not a wholly designed, comprehensive pavillion... more of a stage for events related to Spain's wines and culture, though what work IS done should remain after the Food and Wine Fest is over with, just like the little remnants of Africa in WS. Nice Coke Machine. I think I'll build one.
