Especially the- THEA AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT: MUSEUM ATTRACTION- The Star of Destiny, Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum, Austin, Texas I myself can attest to this one being a great show/attraction. The show is definately a Disney influenced show /very cool effects (thats why I like it so much). After seeing it I immediately became a Museum Official Member just so I could return and see it again often (& also for their Awesome IMAX Theatre). & I'm also glad to see Schlitterbahn Beach Water Park/South Padre Island win also. I went there numerous times this summer & really enjoyed the park & their fireworks show they have. This park is so cool being right on the Beach. The original Schlitterbahn in New Braunsfels (between Austin & San Antonio) is Awesome also. Especially the "Master Blaster" which I would describe as a water roller coaster. These two are definate not -to-miss along with the Bob Bullock Museum Texas State History Museum if you visit the Lone Star State.

The museum is very big (3 floors), IMAX Theatre, gift shop, restaurant & parking garage. The Museum is very upscale looking too (they didn't cut any corners). Anyways the show "The Star Of Destiny" is about the history of Texas & has great effects & suprises. The history part of the show is very much like "The American Adventure" show at Epcot , Carousel Of Progress at the Magic Kingdom, & Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln. As for the suprises I mentioned- It's Like the suprises in "It's Tough To Be A Bug" at DCA & Animal Kingdom. I read some of the shorter threads, or some of the the threads before they get too long, but when I see a topic that has 122 new messages, I just don't have the time to get into it. Take now, for instance. Considering when I'm waking up tomorrow, I should have been asleep hours ago. Maybe someday... someday...I can settle down with just one job and find a wife like a normal person and have more time to spend here, because there can be some really good discussions here. Heck, Doobie can tell you I kept asking him to start up these discussions areas before he had them. I'm more likely to read longer messages if they are from certain authors (not necssarily ones I agree with, either) because they are carefully thought out. Longer discussions often degenerate and stray far from the subject line. I *always* check out the discussions based on my columns. I'm either eager for feedback to keep my pulse on the readers or just plain vain. Ken "SFH" Pellman Kenversations(at)flash(dot)net

EMMY? It's a THEA Award, not an Emmy. Get your facts straight, and don't mess with me. I'm a Korean War veteran. Enough said.

With the Awards, if performing weren't enough to already think about, I also had all the video graphics to design. I'm still looking for a much deserved nap, but it's always on to the next thing! Take care. -Josh
