A little shopping at Downtown Disney just before yummy lunch at Brennan’s Jazz Café at Downtown Disney. We all went swimming at the pool after lunch even though it was drizzling Lots of splashy laughs for me with Grandaughter and then with Grandson. Drinks at the Concierge Lounge and then dinner at the House of Blues. Singer in the plaza and Grandaughter, Grandson, and I danced and danced! Great fun! Story time at the hotel – Kim, the singer, was back! Toddled upstairs and said sad goodbyes to everyone. What a WONDERFUL, FUN-FILLED, HAPPY VACATION!!!!!!! Can’t wait for next year! FAVORITES: Grandaughter: I’m not going on Pirates of the Caribbean gain – ever – even if I’m 605 years old! Grandson:Haunted Mansion was boring. Grandson’s favorite this year: It’s A Small World Swimming at the hotel pool Watching Grandaughter go down the big water slide at the pool Grandaughter: her face when she is watching the princesses – complete adoration and enchantment Grandson: his face when he is watching the characters – both fear and fascination all at the same time Grandaughter and Grandson: their faces when the waiter plunked down a platter of cotton candy in the middle of the table at Ariel’s Grotto! Grandaughter falling asleep in the middle of story time. Storytime at the Concierge Lounge Guessing which elevator will come first Being with our family Grand Californian – what a great hotel. Loved having a 3 bedroom suite so everyone was together but had a bit of private space as well. Daughter’s face when Grandaughter presented her (on behalf of Son-in-law and Grandson – the present of earrings and necklace). Grandaughter to Son-in-law in line: why do you have furry arms? Concierge Lounge – food, drinks, Mr. Rudy, storytime, cookies, EVERYTHING NOT SO FAVORITES: Trying to get Grandson to smile (or at least not to look goofy) for photos – oy. Grandaughter’s grouchy moments (especially on the teacups) Having to say goodbye to Disneyland and each other!

Yes, amazedncal2, we found the 3-year-old was much more scared than he was at age 2 at DL. We're hoping the fears will have subsided when we go back in January 2008! Thanks all for contributing to such a fun website
