    No chains, please. Unless they're really good, like Ruth Chris, lol. Our family likes ethnic and local flavor restaurant eating when we travel. And all price ranges, although we prefer budget for breakfast.

    I'm just curious, beamerdog - are you afraid that there aren't any good on property restaurants left, or have you eaten at them so many times that it's time for something different? I visit a couple times a year, and always seem to find some place I haven't tried before, as well as revisiting some old favorites. I can't imagine needing to go off property.
