Do they self destruct like Mr. Phelps' reel-to-reel tapes from Mission Impossible? I went to the podcast's site... none of the old ones are available anymore. HELP!!!

With my version of iTunes (on my Mac), I have a choice of how many to keep, and it cleans up for me every so often. It could also be that your old ones have archived themselves somewhere. I would start your investigation with your computer, because I don't think they evaporate or self-destruct. Then again, my computer has done worse to me in the past.... You also said you checked the podcast site -- does that mean on iTunes? If not, try there too. Good luck!

Now I just have a few of the newer ones. jodiefra, I did check my preferences on iTunes on my Mac, and I had "keep all" checked, so I think there is something else going on here. If you highlight any particular podcast title in iTunes, and press the 'control' key at the same time, it brings up the floating menu which includes an item called "do not auto delete", that if you check it, becomes "allow auto delete" next time you bring up that floating menu. I just noticed that recently in the aftermath of losing all these podcasts, and I think this might be why my old ones are now all gone. What the heck is "auto delete", and why don't they tell you about that?????? Now all my old Disneyland podcasts are wiped out. :-(
