Those faces will become more important later in the ride, as they'll show up again.

The biggest changes will be coming to the attic scene, as that's where the new plotline will be most evident. As it is now, the attic scene is simply a cluttered and dusty place with a ghost inexplicably dressed like a bride with that spooky beating heart. But when the additions are all installed, the bride will become a much more sinister character who has apparently been killing off all of her previous husbands. As the doombuggies pass through the attic, riders will see portraits of several dashing young gentlemen, with each portrait piled next to "the loot" that the man brought in to the marriage.

I really dont know what to make of this. Its not AS blasphemous as i thought, but it certainly isnt Disney like. I am curious to see the new Hitchhiking ghosts and new FX. What does evereyone else think. ALso, id like to say to Al, that whole Master Gracey story started at <OUR> HM. NOT DLs!! WE had the Master Gracey headstone. WE had the Master Gracey portrait. WE had the ring imbedded in the ground. They made that story up for US. DL ALWAYS had a story, it was just never realized. Thats why the ship weathervane is STILL on top and the nauticaul instruments are on the balconey at DL.

Also the report said that these effect would be showing up over the rest of the year. NOT this next week.

Guys without their heads -- a bloody axe -- yeah....

The seance has actual characters and so forth. The seance scene is brilliant -- who gives a rip if there are things that 'don't make sense'?

It's a bit literal for my tastes...

In fact, I enjoyed the attic from years ago without the piano player and all the 'I do!' -- it was much creepier when you only heard the heartbeat and the screaming.

There's no weapons in the mansion...except for the dueling photos.

I have always been a huge fan of the Haunted Mansion. It's the reason I chose the screen name that I did. The amount of detail is simply mindboggling.

For better or worse, audiences have become more sophisticated in these days of the internet, iPods, PlayStation Portables and $20 cell phones at the corner Circle K. I'm certainly not tired of it, but an increased "gee-whiz" factor can only improve the experience.
