One poor guy wanted to know how to get to Mr. Lincoln? At the time he was standing by the Fire Dept. So I told him to hop on the railroad, take it to the (at that time) 3rd stop on his journey, then get off and stay to your right. And yes, we did have my 8 year old niece convinced that some of the birds in the Tiki Room were indeed real, and not to sit directly under them.

I really, really think this person was just pulling your chain, and it became this "Wow, Disneyland guests sure are stupid!" story. I've made jokes in the park that, if taken out of context and posted on a message board, would be the ultimate stupid guest quotes. But I was always kidding around.

People would ask me where Splash Mountain was (meaning Timber Mt. Log Ride) and I would direct them to their car, head north on Beach Blvd, 5 Fwy south exit Harbor, turn into the Dland Parking lot and etc., etc. Usually they would just stand there with their jaws wide open trying to process something that they just couldn't comprehend. And then they would say; "Are you kidding?"
