    TDLFAN! YOU MUST GO!

Is this a ticketed event? Or can anyone who shows up at Universal Studios that day attend the concert?

    You must go!

TRIVIA QUIZ: Barboy said <<She sings "Bad Girls"(the prostitute song) and "on the radio".>>

Can anyone name the OTHER 'prostitute song' DONNA ever did in the 70's??

LOL! But... nah. Donna's inspiration for that song was a "legitimate" worker. Besides, that song came out in the 80's.

This question is driving me crazy! "Lucky" could be about a meeting-for-hire. "Sunset People" is about "smooth-haired guys thumbing rides, livin' up from side to side... Pretty girls, still sixteen but know the world." "Sunset People" gets my vote, only because I can't think of another right now.

Just PLEASE don't say it's "Try Me!" Sexual as it is, I want that one to be about true attraction/lust/love!

WRONG! That song was inspired by a hard working waitress (the very same woman who appears with DONNA on that record's backside sleeve photo in fact!) and was meant in fact as a tribute to ALL working women on Earth, reason why you see many different women representing several careers on the video of the song.

...And Inspector.. you *know* this. Do I have to come over and slap you??? Think back... way back.

I will give you one more chance to try to guess the "other" DONNA-tribute to working girls in the World. Then I will reveal.

Congrats I57. I will come up with some prize later.

LOL, breathe, TDL... you too, I57, er, Daddums.

I forgot to put my ;) next to post #6. Oh well, if it's any consolation, I believe my parents' album "Bad Girls" is still in the house. Two vinyls and a lot of pictures with DONNA dressed as an unauthorized stress-relieving consultant.

Before we got rid of the old stereo about two years ago, I actually did listen to some of the tracks: the title track, of course, which is linked to Hot Stuff. I also listened to Journey to the Center of Your Heart, and then I was surprised to find Dim All the Lights, which, as some of you may know, she sang at the beginning of DL's 30 Anniversary Celebration. She's also the first number (go figure, lol) as she, dressed as a waitress complete with tray, sings Workin' Hard for the Money with Cinderella and Snow White. Throughout the whole song, she holds the tray with one hand and the microphone with the other.

And then later she skips around Fantasyland with a bunch of kids singing "Unconditional Love." Yes, I know Daddykins and I have mentioned this before, but I brought it up in case no one knew.
