I most definitely do not agree with some of this list. I'd love to hear feedback on this.

Originally Posted By Bellella I wouldn't have put "Lilo and Stitch" anywhere else than the bottom of the ranks. "Robin Hood" and "Pocahontas" definitely belong in the top 30. "Bolt" is awesome, but it can't go higher than "Bambi" by any means. "Peter Pan" and "Alice in Wonderland" are ranked far too low. "Tangled" and "Tarzan" are good, but they're not that good. As for the top spot, I don't know which one I'd pick. Much as I love "Pinocchio" it wouldn't be my top choice. One is tempted to put one of the earliest films they did at the top, but that's like saying they couldn't improve from there. Basically, any one of the films that was made during Walt's years, besides the package features, "Pinocchio", and "101 Dalmatians" would win the top spot.

And then there's that little matter of RT's fresh/rotten configuration, which, as I keep saying over and over and over again, makes their ratings useless anyway. A movie with 200 barely-fresh reviews would outrank one with 199 enthusiastic raves and one mildly indifferent rotten. That being said, I find these rankings only mildly preposterous, with Bolt at #11 being the only real world-class spit-taker. Which means this is one of the best such lists I've ever seen. (Yeah, I'd put Peter Pan a bit higher too, but I can see the argument against it. Robin Hood sucks.)

Several times i have read so-so reviews that have been somehow classified as "fresh". They need a stewed tomato level in between fresh and rotten.

Originally Posted By FerretAfros Hunchback, Pocahontas, and Brother Bear (yes, Brother Bear) are among my all-time favorite films, so I certainly disagreee with that part of the list. There are also many generally well-regarded films that I just don't find many redeeming qualities in (Cinderella, Lilo and Stitch, Jungle Book, and Bambi), so I've known for a while that I generally disagree with these types of lists. I do think that Bolt deserves to be higher on the list than most people would give it credit for, but even I think that 11 is a little high. It wouldn't surprise me if part of the reason it scored so high was that people had such low expectations going into it. Meet the Robinsons should also be much higher than it is, but I suspect that it also has to do with cross-contamination of other Disney films around the time.

However, there are no original songs, not really any characters you can empathize with, and the animation pales in comparison to Pixar. The good news is, the all-computer features from Disney kept on improving from there.

Hard to argue with the top four. 101 is a BIT high, Bolt way too high, Hunchback and a couple of others too low, but by and large surprisingly good.
