Hoping that doesn't happen this time, as my daughter was so disappointed then and will be even more disappointed of Mermaid isn't open lol.

On the other hand, the themed weekend events in the Festival Arena are nice, though I'm sure the park is pretty dead during the weekdays. It is interesting to see the parade CMs showing off a different set of skills, while they learn new mini-shows for each weekend. From what I hear, these things are costing Disney a pretty penny (though they have been very well executed thus far), so I would be a little surprised if they keep them instead of a parade or calvacade of sorts.

Right now, there's only about a third of the pavement covered, leaving another third that has not been repaved in a decade or more. I remember that C!ASP opened in mid-March, so if they pushed Soundsational back to May, they would have enough time to let the current project get finished, move the walls, and start and finish the remaining areas. The only other way to get that done any time soon would be to stop running the parade for 8-10 weeks. That seems unlikely, since they would have a tough time closing it and bringing it back without changes. Knowing how much they don't like making new parades, I don't see that happening any time soon...
