For the past 18 years I've been attending the Brewers opening day with a group of friends. Now I've missed a few times because I've been on vacation. But for the most part it has always been a core group of friends.

Well as the years have gone on some of the original group has not been able to come, be it work, family, going with other people. And a newer younger group has come in. This year besides my friend who plans it. There were about five or six other people from our original group.

Now I'm not adverse to people having fun I tailgate plenty of times before Brewer games. For my Wisconsin season tickets we have a huge tailgate party. And it was great seeing some of my friends it was way too long since I've seen them. And the weather was the best it's ever been.

We didn't have tickets for the game so we just decided to hang around outside. Which again I'm fine with. And hung out with the core group of friends. But the newer younger group, was completely embarassing. They're passing out, vomiting all over the place. Yelling at cops. Just real trash behavior. And this has happened for the last few years. I had a few beers but it was nothing like these people and I even stopped while all this was happening. So my friends and I just packed up and left. And we're seriously deciding on doing something on our own next year.

Don't get me wrong I appreciate my friend planning this every year. But I don't want to deal anymore with this new group of people. So I think next year I'll get tickets with my other friends and just stop and say hello.

Hopefully before next year you'll hook up with some great Brewers fans and have a whole new group to enjoy opening day with -- without completely ditching your old pals.
