It was my 8 month olds first trip, he did very well under the circumstances (12 hour drive, sunscreen in his eyes, etc.) I was very impressed with the CM's willingness to go the extra mile to make someone happy. one day while we were standing outside of the child care center (which we used a lot) a couple CM's came out from behind the scenes to start their day. My little girl was unhappy about something and the CM's came over and told her that Aladdin and Jasmine were coming out in a few minutes and that they wanted to see her. Then one of them went back and I assume told them her name because when they came out they walked right up to her and said "Is this Princess Kylie?", her name is kayli but it was close enoughBefore Aladdin and Jasmine came out the CM's had to leave and one of threm exclaimed "I want to see her reaction!" I thought that was cute. My little boy got several of the "My First Trip" buttons. CM's would just come up and hand it to me and say "This is for the little one!" While on King Triton's Carrousel my little girl was "crowned Princess" The Cm had everyone applaud her, she loved it! We went with my side of the family as we always do. While coming off of Gadgets Go Coaster my husband, daughter, and sister got hit by the Dream Team. (I was off with the baby) They got the lanyard and pin set. My husband and daughter couldn't have cared less but my sister was thrilled! We almost bought the photo pass but we didn't start doing the picture thing until our ssecond to last day, and there were only a few pictures on it that we really liked. Kayli went on the Matterhorn and Gadgets for the first time. They really scared her but she kept wanting to go on them. We stayed at the Travelodge on Ball. Nothing fancy, but the employees were very helpful and friendly. It was bout a 15 minute walk to the shuttle and only a 5 minute walk from the tram so my parents decided to just add parking to their annual passes so we could just drive to the parking lot instead of walk to the trams. Well that's our trip in a nutshell, we had a blast! I am already having withdrawls so I am going to start planning our next trip!

We are flying down this year so we will not have a vehicle. From what I have been able to figure out there is an ART stop across the street at the Days Inn. OR We can walk down Ball (west) and then south on Disneyland Drive to the Mickey and Friends parking structure and take the tram. But that appears to be quite a hike. (I am experiencing kidney failure and have a limited amount of energy and stamina. I would rather expend the energy I do have in Disneyland rather then walking to and from the park.) I thought I read somewhere about a parking lot on Ball that had a tram pickup? Am I nuts? Is there a third option? Thanks in advance for any information you can give me.

Its about a 15 minute walk from the Travelodge to the tram pickup and then if its crowded you have to wait for a tram. From the parking lot its about another 5 minutes (give or take a few)if you decide to keep walking. We decided to just add the parking pass to one of the annual passes and drive to the parking lot and catch the tram. I have an 8 month old and a 3 year old and walking all that way was just too much. If you're having health problems I would suggest either catching the ART or renting a car and buying a parking pass. Good luck and have a blast!!!

If you still have your PhotoPass you can access your pictures online using the info on the back of the card. You can crop and add things and then order them or save them. There is an expiration date of about 30-45ish days though.
