Put it another way, Obama looked like the underdog in this first debate and came out fighting hard enough where he was still standing at the end, so just by the idea that alone he looked stronger. Of course, with that, next week with Palin/Biden debate comes and all she will have to do is answer all the questions (since there will be NO back and fourth ) somewhat competently even if she's wrong or never show Biden up in any question to prove she's the winner at this point .

Not everyone makes clear and concise statements all of the time... especially when under the pressure that the candidates are. There are certainly video clips out there that make Obama look like a stammering idiot. Here's a sample: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...Eo9OMSgU Now of course the difference is that being a reasonable man, I would in no way claim that is representative of Obama's intelligence or abilities. No one around here would ever extend the same courtesy to Palin.

As for Palin, she's given about 3 interviews, the same stomp speech over and over again and one highly effective convention speech. The speeches have been fine, but its the interviews, the few shes given, have all been rated mediocre to bad thus far. BASED on the very little exposure we have been given of her, she has simply not been very impressive or shown that she is knowledged on the issues as she should be. That's what we are really talking about here. Combine that with her lack of national and foreign policy experience in the first place and its very scary to a lot of us. Obama has had a long time to persuade people in SPITE of his lack of experience, he's ready to lead and gives off the vibe of a leader, the debates once again showing that. Palin has not done that yet the few times we seen her, at least not to me. She always look so shaky and waffles through everything. Again, normally that would be fine, she's only been doing it a month now, but with 6 weeks to go, that's the problem for many of us. It's not just about campaign gaffes, its simply about proving that you are still a proven and competent leader in SPITE of those gaffes. Of course, I say this knowing the King of gaffes is sitting in the oval office as we speak *sigh*. And that clip with Obama was funny, the man just couldnt spit it out to save his life lol.

Her lack of a coherent answer to ANY of the questions doesn't concern you? You want that person leading your country?
