The second parade takes the floats up Main Street to Small World, returning them to the parade barn. When there is only one parade, I believe they take the floats back at night, after the park has closed.

And you can watch the parade anywhere along the parade route. At most places you will see the parade stop twice. At the very start and the very end (Small World and the Opera House, more or less) you will see the parade stop once.

It also depends on where on the parade route you are viewing from which determines which float's show stop you will see. For example, some people find the Pinochio or Lion King show stops to be more entertaining then others.
