I know that's a tough thing to hear, and you love it since it's the place you know, but it's been slipping quite a bit over the last few years. What DL lacks in size, it more than makes up in quality. It will be quite a shock the first time you see the castle, but you will get over it as you see all the tiny details that fill the park. I'm not trying to change your current plans, but definately take DL into consideration next time you're planning a Disney trip.
