Patty Andrews passes away at 94

    Her and her group sang Johnny Fedora for the Make Mine Music short of the same name. They also were known for songs like Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and Rum and Coca Cola.

    I love there music oh so much and knowing that all three are gone is so incredibly sad.     She had this comedy and wit in her that made the group even more wonderful than the great harmonies.

No different than if the Beatles hooked up with Janis Joplin (different type acts, same popularity) or if Bieber and Gaga made records together (chances that record being any good YMMV, but again, same popularity).

    She was definitely a great singer, as well as were her sisters, and they had spats just like some of today's groups do. Because today's music doesn't move me, save for Adele, I've gone backwards and discovered Crosby, The Andrews Sisters, etc. Lots of great stuff made in the WWII era.
