Henson was brilliant, but I think at this point his reputation has grown to levels unsustainable by the evidence.

I watched the Pearl Bailey episode last night which featured a skit where Beaker's nose fell off after eating edible paperclips. It wasn't laugh out loud funny by any stretch, but it perfectly balanced out some of Pearl's performances of traditional jazz/gospel songs. There's a lot of culture in the average Muppet Show if you can look beyond the occasional piece of singing fruit. I think the problem with Muppets Tonight was that it tried to be funny and in the process the Muppets lost their soul. I am hopeful for the future though!!!

Pepe has a Salsa Club and I think Johnny and Sal have a lounge.
