There can't be too many that don't like DL if the crowds are any indication. If you're only visiting once a year, 5 days is the bare minimum IMO, so not crazy at all really.

Can you just imagine what DL would be like if _everyone_ liked it? YIKES!

On the other side, though... if that really were the case, that "everyone" loved DL, DLR would be a vastly different place. Can you say Westcot?

OTOH, it's been calm where I live and I've been having a BLAST with my newly souped-up chopper! The two Associated vehicles are down with minor problems and backordered parts while the big Savage 25 needs tranny work. Might pop for the new three-speed and be done with it.

Alas (and getting back on subject), I'll have to leave the toys behind when I come to the park this weekend. As long as the folks who DON'T like Disneyland stay at home, we'll have plenty of fun!

Thanks for your patience, admins. :) Back on track...

Maybe a huge disappointment so they had to convince themselves that it wasn't a fun place and they weren't missing anything.

Maybe that is a stretch, but I cannot think of any other logical reason.

I have family members, with children, who live twenty minutes away from the park, and never go, but they spend thousands a year for San Diego Chargers season tickets...go figure!

It's no more of a problem than if someone doesn't enjoy the same music as you, or the same sports, tv shows, food, etc. People just have different tastes for things.

We had both Charger and Padre (mini season) tickets years ago. Then we started going to Disneyland on a regular basis, they came out with the APs, we bought those and quit going to the sports games. I think the last season we had the Charger tickets, we only used two of them and we couldn't _give_ the rest away (of course, they weren't doing well at all).

With our passports, if we only go seven days throughout the year, we're ahead.

I agree with the others. If someone doesn't like Disneyland, don't try talking them into it. My mom hates it and she gets all defensive and hurt when I say something to the effect that I'd never take her up there again.

"Yeah, but mom, you're miserable there, you hate it, remember?"

    "Oh, yeah, that's right. Thanks."
