In Pan though you're suspended and above fragile displays and fiber optics, so how do they get guests off the ride if it can't be restarted fairly soon?

I have seen Peter Pan with the lights on at one magic morning...it was odd at first, I could tell something was different but couldn't put my finger on it for a minute or two. Pretty amazing if you ask me.

Right before our jeep went through one of the three doors at the start, everything stopped. We were so high off the ground, the cast members brought in a stepladder to get us off, and then we walked back to the loading area. I do not want to have to walk off any rides, especially the Mansion. That would be ultra-freaky!

But my all time favorite evac has to be Gadget's Go Coaster.

I think it would be interesting and something to talk about but could it cause the loss of some magic. I don't think I want to see a dark ride with lights on.

Never had a breakdown where I had to evac-but did ride the loop on HM when I went with some friends who had family member in a wheelchair. It was only a black curtain but I was stoked for some nerdy reason ;)

-Splash: right before going up the final climb before the final drop. Stepped off the log and walked in the back area.
-Indy: on the first hill where Indy is trying to hold the giant doors shut. That was cool because they had to get a step ladder so everybody could climb off. I never realized how high up the vehicles are.
-Space Mountain: just after pulling out of the loading area it broke down. We were at the bottom of the hill with the "spinning tunnel" and had to evac. I was bummed because I always wanted to see it with the lights on and were were literally 2 or 3 vehicles away.
-Rocket Rods: We were on the track just above Pizza Port. Unfortunately, they did not evac us, probably for safety reasons (imagine trying to walk on the Rocket Rods track way up there) and we had to wait for almost an hour.

I've always thought some rides would be so cool to get stuck on. Peter Pan is definitely one, as is Space Mountain. Some would be terrible. Can you imagine getting stuck on the subs or Small World for a long time (I actually did get stuck on Small World for about 20 minutes. After 5 minutes they stopped the music and everybody cheered).

So far I've been walked off Indy (once, the other time we sat in the dark in a bouncing car on and off for 20 minutes until the managed to get it to the beginning of the ride), Alice, and Big Thunder. It was pretty neat except we broke down on Thunder on a HOT day in July at the top of the hill before the goat and the sun was beating down on us. We were only there for about 5 minutes though.
