All my photos are digital so I need to sort through them to decide what to print. Part way through this process I glanced down to see how many photos I had put in the "print" folder and I had already amassed 132. I thought "wow, that's a lot of prints to stick in an album" especially since I had 3 days of pix yet to sort. So I counted how many I had taken over the week I was gone. The grand total came to 888 pictures in an 8 day period! I know this is no record, but when you consider I didn't take a single pic at Blizzard Beach, Down Town Disney, my kid in the pool or Disney Quest, that's quite a few.

Any body else get saddled with the Camera Geek title by family or friends?

You need to meet Darkbeer. =)

I'm a little camera geeky. I have a little Cannon Elph that I always carry around with me. I've gotten some shots that I'm pretty proud of, so I don't think you have anything to be embarrassed about if they call you "Camera Geek". It's not a saddle, it's a title I'm proud of! Of course, I wanted to be a photojournalist so maybe my view is a little skewed. :p

I took SO many pictures during one of our Disneyland trips that DH started calling me "Darkbeer"! LOL!

Can't wait to see some of your pics Deb.

As my main focus is baseball, I am up to shooting 1700 photos in a single game. Which turns into usually 5 days a week. While 8500 aint no record either, it certainly quite a bit.

I think DB still has me.

I think I took maybe twenty or so (total) when we drove to Chicago and back a couple of years ago, mostly of the Painted Desert, Lincoln's house, and Mt Rushmore.

And, for some reason, I never take pictures of people. In all the shots I've taken at DLR or on our trip, you won't find one with me or my wife in it.

I took photo class for 2 hours per day in high school and just loved it. We always have our camera and sometimes our family says not again. LOL
