I'm liking the attention PI is getting. I still think they should just close it for a month or two and get the work done rather than having people literally walking through a construction zone, but so far so good. The walkways are looking better, the incline is being lessened, the bridge is wider and now doesn't involve climbing a set of steps to get into or out of PI. Hopefully some more attention will be put towards fixing up some of the exteriors too.

As far as being a silly name, it is actually extremely appropriate as it is (at least partially) owned by the actual Earl of Sandwich ... the direct descendant of John Montague - the Earl of Sandwich who invented (as lengend would have it) the sandwich while playing cards and not wanted to get the cards greasy - and gave it its name.
