That's fine. You are entitled to your opinion Roger even if it is wrong. :p

Mythica will be worth a trip all on its own.

Remember, you may know a lot about Disney and have connections in the company but you are not a Disney God. Au contraire...

No need to. You are already going ga-ga over "Legend of Mythica", maybe because one of your personal Disney friends was involved??

I am excited because they put the best creative director the Company has right now in charge of a $30m show. After the dreary Porto Paradiso Water Carnival, awful TDS Symphony and dull BraviSEAmo I know Mythica will be better. Much better.

Steve is a good friend but that doesn't mean I love everything he does. The DL 50th parade leaves me cold. That is just one thing out of a long list of success: Wishes, Remember..., HalloWishes, Haunted Mansion Holiday...

tcsnwhite, I'm ga-ga about it too. It has been a long time since I got excited about a parade or show. Having seen a huge chunk of it now I'm convinced it is exactly the sort of high energy show that TDS has been lacking. It also injects fantasy into a very realistic environment.

also, 30 million for Mythica. Wow, I actually thought it would be more than that, but I don't even know what a Parade along the lines of Parade of Dreams of Block Party costs. All I know is it is alot.

You know I can't put my finger on it at all. It just doesn't seem to have the energy level that I would expect. It might even be the use of the music that influences my opinion. The floats are stunning but it doesn't have a "wow" factor for me. I prefer BPB at DCA to be honest (and Dreams on Parade at TDL).

The US parks can get a parade for $10-15m generally. Mythica is considerably more due to the scale of the show and the cost of the boats. A lot of the construction was farmed out to Indonesia and cheaper labor countries like that when in the past OLC would have the shows built entirely in the US. Big problem when you come to need parts. That is why some of the Water Carnival elements disappeared over its run as they couldn't import the spares quick enough.

I don't know for sure due to how the costs are accounted for collectively.
