This trip, the website showed the GCH as sold out, but I got great rooms over the phone through the resort. But now paying for the trip is a bit of a pain. I called the resort and they don't seem to have a way for me to charge my bank card for the room now. They gave me an address to which I can send a check. Has anyone done this before? For some reason I am more comfortable giving my credit card info to a website or over the phone than I am sending a check, how crazy is that?

Also, I wanted to have some welcome packages in the rooms when my family arrives. I wouldn't mind buying some little things from vacation planning, but what I was wondering was if they would be willing to add some of those cute cards you can print out on Disney.com and maybe a few other personal things if I sent them a package before hand. We are staying concierge level at the GCH, in a 3 bedroom suite and one other room, if the concierge stiff might be able to offer us better service, I don't know if that would be a factor or not.

I am also sorry that I won't be recieving that package in the mail that you get through WDTC. I want another cute luggage tag! Oh well, I guess I shouldn't complain, I got the rooms I wanted. : )

Thanks for all of your help, in the past and hopefuly now! : )

I'm sure others who have used the vacation planning services will be able to help with your other questions.

I'm envious, I'd love to stay at the GCH someday.

Not only will they be emailing me a list of the baskets available for delivery to rooms at the GCH, they are happy to have me send some of those cute cards you can print on the Disneyland website to them, and they will include them in the basket! I think that's great! Plus, as the people I'm bringing to DL are coming to my wedding first, from Australia, they are sending me some maps and dining information that I will include in the wellcome baskets I will be leaving for them at their first hotel near our home before we head to DL. I was thrilled with how well they were able to help me!

Enjoy the craftsman club and make sure to try the Mickey Mouse scones at afternoon tea, they are my favorite!!

    Glad we could help!

Boy would I love to take my daughter to have tea with Mary Poppins! Hope this clarifies my post. I have not been around the boards for a few months. I think I'm rusty!

I was worried that at the time when we might need food the most, between 2 and 4 pm during an afternoon break nothing good would be available at the concierge lounge. I found what was available at the DLH concierge lounge at that time to be a little lacking. With the park closing at 8 each night we're there, I don't know if we'll ever be around for the 5-8 o'clock hors d'oerves (sure I misspelled that one) which sound like they are the best, and we love wine so it will be a shame to miss out. But I'm glad to hear there is something good to look forward to at a time when we will definately take advantage!

There's Nothing at all lacking in the craftman's lounge at GCH.

We stuffed our faces there was so much food!
    Such uncouth Aussie's! lol
