Please let me know what are your favorite things to do, see, eat, and any tips or tricks that you might like to pass on. I'm leaving this Sunday and I'm so excited!

I really like DCA. Soarin' gets a line early in the day and it stays long. So either ride first thing or get a fastpass early on.

If you are going to ride Grizzly River Rapids, there are lockers over to the left of the entrance. They are free for several hours, so stash your stuff. You WILL get wet!

Across from Grizzly, there is an entrance to the Grand Californian. If you go through that park entrance/exit, Whitewater Snacks will be to your left. It's a great place to grab lunch. The prices seem better than in the park, and the food is GOOD! Kids Meals are plenty big enough for adults. They have outside tables so you can look back into the park and listen to the atmosphere music while you eat.

California Screamin' can get a long line, too. Fastpass or ask about single rider.

I don't recommend single rider for Maliboomer. It can take longer than the line.

Be sure to see Aladdin! Mezzanine seats are the best, in my opinion.

Also not to be missed is the Animation building. Be sure to experience all of the programs in there. Turtle Talk with Crush is not to be missed. Learn to draw a character in Drawn to Animation. Find out who you are most like in Beast's Library, then sing along to the Bear Necessities. I don't recommend Hi-Ho unless you want to embarass yourself, LOL

Take time and wander the park. Check out the details, read the windows in the Hollywood Backlot. Visit Flick's Fun Faire.

Don't skip something just because they also have it at WDW. If the actual attraction isn't a little different, the queue is!

    Have a great time!!

We also love to take a break during the Holiday season to see the lobby at the Grand and relax in rocking chairs by the huge fireplace.

Of course, you'll want to see things you can't see at WDW: the Matterhorn, Indiana Jones Adventure, StorybookLand and/or Casey Jr., Alice in Wonderland, Mr. Toad, Pinocchio, Roger Rabbit, the canoes, etc.

In addition, there are several attractions that are definitely better at DL: Pirates, Space Mountain, and the Tiki Room, to name three.

If it's running, don't miss the Columbia! It's really wonderful, IMO, and before you leave the dock you can go below decks and check out authentically recreated sleeping quarers, galley, etc. etc. It's fascinating and really puts you in the mindset of those who would have lived that way.

Be sure to wander New Orleans Square and check out the little nooks and crannies of this section WDW doesn't have - IMO, the loveliest section in any Disney theme park.

One other little tip: go to the Hungry Bear Restaurant, even if just for a snack, and get a table overlooking the water. WDW doesn't have an equivalent, and you can really get lost in the atmosphere of the river - it takes you a million miles away from the 21st century, even with all the activity on it. Feed the ducks!

Corn Dog Castle by the Dinosaur sunglasses store next to Maliboomer. Or, the Coca-Cola wagon at the end of Main Street. I was not happy at WDW last year that this "fine cusine" was non-existent in any park.

(hope you can log on from DL?)
