Okay, so I'm trying hard to give operations the benefit of the doubt. I mean, they don't go on the attraction during the day, so it's quite possible they have no clue that it's flippin' out inside. But when we get off and the CM says "Thanks for riding our tripped out version of POTC" we realize they do know it's messed up, they've just decided to keep it running. Now where is the sense in that? I could maybe, maybe, understand keeping it open if the park was at capactiy and they needed somewhere, anywhere to dump guests. But it wasn't. We walked right on to several attractions. IMO - Bad show, terrible show; to keep an attraction operating that is misperforming. And not just one or two broken animatronics but every scene was out of whack. Your thoughts? Would you have kept it open or shut it down?

WDI won't be back on-site until April 30.

Has there EVER been much talking by the animatronics on POTC?? Not that I remember (except of course for the famous "We want the redhead!" sequence). Maybe I need a hearing aid.

If the answers to these ?s are anything but yes then these are my thoughts. Perhaps the attraction sound track went wacky after you were loaded on it and they found out from the guests the exited before you. The comment by the CM would probably have been an attempt at humor in that case, not a condoning of knowing they were presenting a substandard show. If indeed they knowingly presented the show as you saw it that is bad show and there is no excuse busy or not. The one thing that sets Disney apart from the other entertainment venues is the story so without it you could be anywhere. And that being said Disney knows that so I'm sure it was corrected. Just my thoughts.
