Let me go on record saying I don't think the Disneyland version should be redone other than adding back some of the magical touches that the show used to have (Ursula, Croc, etc). If there is some new technology that will really just blow the audience out of the water, then I might consider some new change to Disneyland's version. On the otherhand, I think the Disney-MGM Studios Fantasmic is ripe for change. The first thing that needs to be done is to fix the giant eyesore that is the 'mountain' set. As crowds sit and wait for the show to begin they're stuck just looking at this ugly brown piece of rock. That needs to be a set piece that magically transforms into a wonderous setting. For instance, it could start as as the Castle from Sleeping Beauty. As the show begins Mickey Mouse could prick his finger and fall asleep. Then his dreams take over. Every movie ends up with more vines crawling over the castle until it is covered in them. At the end Mickey defeats Maleficent and frees the castle and all the prince and princesses from inside. well, you get the basic idea.
