I wonder what Trump will do to further ignite this?

    *sigh*

This is a guy who's been fighting for civil rights since the late 1950s.

Yes, the Trumpkins were generally behaving like their usual asshole selves, but it was BLM that was clearly there with the intention of stirring things up.

I saw this earlier today and scoffed. Anecdotal, after all, and it challenges my preconceived notions that I'm pretty sure are on point! Even started writing a response then figured why bother.

Fast-forward to tonight. Trump is in my hometown speaking. Same with Ted Cruz, Bernie Sanders, and John Kasich. This is new for us: *no one* comes to Utah. By the time our caucuses roll around the nominee is almost always decided. Plus, if you win I think we give you 2 delegates and a pack of gummy bears. Seriously, the last time a candidate came here was Dennis Kucinich in '08. He spoke at a podium setup at the airport then left.

Tonight at Trump's rally protestors show up. Start chanting "Black lives matter!" and start pelting the building Trump is speaking in with rocks. They surround the building and people inside can't leave for a while. This comes from multiple reporters onsite, all of whom say Trump supporters and those at his rally were fine--it was the protesters who were causing the problems. No one was arrested so it seems the nasty behavior wasn't *that* widespread among the protesters, but it was in their ranks that initiated violence.

    Infuriating. In. Furi. Ating.

Wait a second, why the heck aren't you doubling down then?

Isn't that the way it works?
