Or are there special tickets to buy? I know it will be packed, but, that is ok....... all part of the experience ! Any info is appreciated !

There is a POTC meet in the LP meets section. Check it out.

There is no need for special tickets, but after a certain time they will no longer admit guests. So do arrive early, and keep checking out the crowds along the red carpet!

If you are lined up on Main Street waiting, they are not going to kick you out.

It's just at whatever the determined time is, say 6pm, the front gates close and no else is let in.

So we rode rides for a few hours with no lines and then got a spot in the shade a little before main street turns into the hub.

When we had to start standing, we ended up with a second row spot, essentially. But people were so pushy and rude, they would just come up at anytime and squeeze in next to us. I highly suggest getting a spot right up at the front (meaning the front of main street) even if it's behind other people.

Around 9 O'clock, after 6 hours of sitting and 6 hours of standing, very squished, Johnny Depp came running by, stopping only for a mere second because he remembered the girl in front of us with his face tatooed on her arm.

Apparently he spent hours up front and was already late, so that was a huge disappointment, but understandable.

Assuming they are doing it the same way, which I think is a safe bet.

Most everyone else signed everyone's autograph. Keira, it seemed, made sure to sign everything even way up where we were. And Orlando spent a fair amount of time at each section, too. Johhny was just running so late, I guess.

If I were going again, I'd probably try to get to the park around 4am which would put me there about 430 :)

If I was going this year, I would go and ride rides all day, short lines, and stop by main street every once in awhile to catch a glimpse of someone and enjoy the atmosphere :)

If I were going again and wanted to get a better spot, I would go at four, which I wouldn't even dream of doing because standing in one tiny spot for 6 hours in the sun with rude people (not everyone was rude! :) was not fun. But I'm glad I did it once.

If I were for reals going again, I would ride rides all day :)
