POTC queue

I recently noticed that in addition to that, at the back of this extra queue area there appears to be a set of stairs with an "up" and "down" side that would allow the queue to extend even further into the second floor of that building. Has anyone ever been up there? How big is the area?

    That stair is not used for queue. There is a door at the second floor, which is the back entrance of Blue Bayou Restaurant. During the end period of the 20th anniversary event of TDL, the space in front of the door of second floor was used for the gift exchange booth.

    Interesting. I didn't take a picture, but seem to remember something that gave me the distinct impression that there was more queue space upstairs (such as a railing or chain down the middle of the stairs), but I'm obviously mistaken.

    Yes, these stairs are used for queuing in those rare ocassions when the heavy crowds warrant it. I've seen it more than a few times. It seems to go up the stairs, a few turns and then back down. -- MagicalNezumi

    Ah hah! Vindication! :) Do you suppose the release of the second movie will spark enough interest in the ride (even though no movie-related changes are being made at TDL) to significantly increase ridership? What happened for the first movie?

    The first film did very well here. And the hype for the sequel is high. There were no promotional tie-in's located inside the park, although some of the actors from the movie did visit TDL during their media tour. I bet if they made similar changes to TDL's version that they're doing in Anaheim, ridership would definitely increase! -- MagicalNezumi
