Needles to say I did not book. This year the same stay was less and I was prepared to pay that. Will the prices drop at all? I thought it might be less since the 5oth was over.

Right now, they are booking for the first time (today was the day the 2007 dates became available), so they are trying to get the highest price possible.

After awhile, Disney will see the booking trends and will lower prices, or add benefits to help draw people to days with lower booking.

How long should we wait? Disney charges $25 every time you make a change. What about mouseears? Does anyone have any insight. I am overly excited to book my trip so that I know it is a go and I can really start counting down.:)

Then keeping checking the Disney Hotel rates (Mousesavers.com is a good source of discount offers), if they drop to a level you are willing to pay, cancel the off-property, and switch. If not, you have a booked hotel, and can carry on with other details, such as arranging vacation, booking flights, etc....

And do verify, but I'm pretty sure there's no charge for cancellation at least 72 hours prior to the stay.
