Priceline for 2 adults and 2 kids.

    Has anyone used Priceline recently, having children in their party? I want to book a hotel for a trip using Priceline, but I know they only guarantee 1 bed. I've used them before for trips to Disneyland and never had a problem, but it's been several years.
    It says on the site that if you book a higher star hotel and call the hotel they are more likely to be able to give you 2 beds.

    Any advice/experiences would be much appreciated!

    I'm sure the availability of 2-bed rooms varies by market, star level, etc, but if you MUST have 2 beds, you just can't count on it with "Name Your Price."

    I always call about 3 hours after I get my hotel bid accepted. I have found any earlier the reservation doesn't always show on their computers. The hotels I have gotten make a note in my reservation and I have so far not had an issue. I used priceline about 10 times in the DL area always 2.5 stars or better.
